Thanks for your support of non-establishment media and your work on the Media Law in Iceland.

It may also be time to promote an Icelandic version of Twitter and Blogger...

Dear Birgitta, thank you for your support of transparency in media. Please do not think all of the American people are against you, there is a large part of the American citizenship that believes that our government is drunk on it's own power and is applying rules as it sees fit. This behaviour from my government in regards to your connections to Wikileaks is not right.

Don't let the bastards grind you down, and good luck from what used to be the USA.

Hi,

I did not know who you were until I heard about the subpoena, saw your tweets and your blog.

I am amazed.
You are a strong woman, an intelligent and brave woman.

Please stay strong.
Please promote datacenters and Open Source apps, even immigration to Iceland, transparency and freedom from IMF.

Today I learnt that Iceland has no army (wow!) and the bank-revolt last year is a model of real democracy, of power to the people.

I also like your poetry and I am proud of who you are.
You are an asset to humanity.

Birgitta,

Flores Astrais (literally, Astral Flowers) to cheer you up in light of Twitter's subpoenas --and god knows whom else's.  It might've been from a couple of centuries ago but ... "Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither."  Benjamin Franklin (1706 – 1790).  Keep up the good fights!  Thanks for being here and being yourself.

Best,
